Finalise wedding ceremonial vows
Choose your Emcee (Master of Ceremonies). If you don’t know anyone consider hiring a professional Emcee. A wedding planner may help here.
Order your wedding rings
Order your wedding invitations !
Guest book – get a guest book!
Double check and triple check your guest list Choose carefully whom you sit next to whom. Good luck with this one.
Consider a gift registry and gift list.

Prepare your bonbonniere

Ensure everybody in the wedding party knows what they are going to be doing, and when.
Choose your wedding music for the wedding ceremony
List the music for any listed dances in your wedding plan (father of the bride and bride dance, for example)
Make sure the DJ gets a list of music that you would either like or definitely not like to have played at your wedding
Are all honeymoon or eloping travel documents is sorted and ready? ( passport, visa, credit cards)

Ensure marriage license is in order, change of name forms for the bride
Anticipate eagerly. And possibly nervously.

COUNTDOWN 1 WEEK UNTIL YOUR WEDDING
Collect all of the wedding attire
Make sure that everyone who is in the bridal parties has what they will need on the wedding day.
Run through the to do lists with everyone in the bridal party and confirm that they really do know what and when they will be doing things. Particularly the Best Man or Groomsman, and the priest (if you are having one).
Confirm with the caterer and the wedding reception venue of how many guests will be attending, any special access, dietary or other needs and seating arrangements
Confirm all the services you will need are booked and deliveries are scheduled as planned. Take nothing for granted, speak to all involved to confirm.
Make sure all those who will be speaking are preparing their speeches, and toasts.

For the bride: It’s your day to shine. Bask in the love and admiration of family and friends. Relax and enjoy. Wine helps.
For the groom: Calm the nerves. Don’t forget to kiss the bride, but only after they say you can! I never understand that one….
