Running races is an excellent way to tire kids out, and send everyone home happy and exhausted.
To add a twist to any of the races here, a great idea that is loads of fun is to run the races BACKWARDS.
The idea is pretty simple. Start at the finish, finish at the start and run the whole race while running backwards. Or just race backwards from start to finish. This is particularly fun with things like the egg and spoon race!
